The basis of my entrance flowerbed is spherical arborvitaes and rocky junipers "Skyrocket". The entrance flowerbeds are located to the left and to the right of the paved area. Their filling is different. On the left - a coniferous composition + climbing Iceberg roses and Rose Raffles' Queen; on the right - roses: Elf, Astrid Count von Hardenberg and Flammentanz; lilac bushes, mock orange. The coniferous composition consists of 2 junipers "Skyrocket", 2 arborvitaes Mickey, spherical arborvitaes Danica, juniper scaly Blue Carpet, juniper Pfitzeriana medium, Chinese juniper Blue Alps, barberry Thunberg Maria, spirea Golden Flame. In order for the crown of spherical thujas to be lush and dense, I trim them once a season. I cut off 1/3 of the young growth. After trimming, coniferous plants must be watered. During the season, it is also advisable to treat coniferous plants from pests and diseases at least 3 times. And if you have not yet treated, now in the middle of summer, it is high time to do this treatment.
