After 8 years of partnership with #lapierre, the women's WorldTeam #FDJ-Suez is signing up with #specialized for the 2025 season. We exclusively attended the assembly of Léa Curinier's new bike, an S-Works Tarmac SL8, at the French team's racing department in Jaunay-Marigny, near Poitiers (86). In 2025, the team will celebrate its 20th season at the professional level. It was created at the time by Gatien Merlot. Today, FDJ-Suez has a budget of between 4 and 5 million Euros (the exact figures are not communicated), 50 employees including 10 year-round in the racing department in Poitiers, 18 female riders, like the teams in the world top 5 of which the blue and red team is part, as well as 4 mechanics. In 2025, the team is strengthened with the arrivals of Demi Vollering (ex-SD Worx), winner of the 2023 Tour de France in particular, and Juliette Labous (ex-team DSM), reigning French champion and 4th in the 2022 Tour de France. They will be the leaders of the team with Evita Muzic, 4th in the 2024 Tour and winner of the 6th stage of the Vuelta this year as well. We met Flavien Soenen, performance director in collaboration with Lieselot Decroix, whom we interviewed about the Amstel Gold Race in April (read issue 569 of Le Cycle in July 2024), as well as Lucas Fouquet, head of mechanics, who assembled Léa Curinier's bike in front of our camera. #cyclismefeminin #uciworldwomentour #specialized #fdjsuez #demivollering #juliettelabous #evitamuzic Images and editing: Eliott Skrzypczak Lariviere studio Presentation: Sylvain Pigeau Le Cycle
