If you are a fan of six-cylinder Opalas, you have certainly heard of the legendary Sissell's cylinder head, developed by Kay Sissell and perfected by Mike Kirby. Sissell was one of the creators of the famous Lump Port solution for the Siamese ducted heads of the Opala's Chevy Straight-6 (in practice, the 3rd evolution of the original Stovebolt). In this video, Márcio Maia (MM Motorsports) presents to Juliano Barata the limitations and characteristics of the Opala's original cylinder head, shows the Lump Port solution, and the heads with individual ducts: Omega 4.1, an Argentinean aluminum one and the Sissell - which is exactly the head that Barata will use in his Opala!
