In this video, KPH Yudahadiningrat and the UAJY Special Jogja Material Team discuss the history of the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The Special Jogja Program is an activity that is part of the group of initiation programs for new students. The initiation program consists of university-level initiations, faculty initiations and Special Jogja. This program aims to: 1. Introduce the special region of Yogyakarta to new students of Atma Jaya University Yogyakarta. 2. Introduce the culture of politeness/subasita to new students, especially from outside the Special Region of Yogyakarta in order to reduce "culture shock". 3. Mutual understanding of the culture of origin of each new student. 4. Prepare new students to get to know and appreciate the special region and the polite culture of the Yogyakarta community earlier.
