And now one of the most anticipated moments of this channel has arrived, which is the second part of the BR-319 special (considered the worst highway in Brazil). But before I tell you about my departure from Manaus and return to Porto Velho, here is a very brief summary so you can understand the whole story: In 2018, my wife and I decided to move to a Kombi and travel around Brazil. We visited 7 states and even spent 2 months in Peru. When we arrived in Manaus, a shocking piece of news changed everything: Vida got pregnant!!! With this news, it was clear that we would have to take a break from our travels to hatch the new baby that was on the way. My wife returned to Minas Gerais by plane, and I was tasked with bringing our little Kombi back. But to do so, I would have to cross the dreaded BR-319 again, but this time alone in the Kombi and in the middle of the rainy season in the Amazon rainforest.
