He completed his MA at Harvard University, Faculty of Education with a Fulbright and Turkish Education Foundation scholarship. Upon his return to Turkey, he worked as a lecturer at Boğaziçi University for two years. He received his PhD from Cambridge University, Faculty of Education. He spent 2007-2008 taking courses and conducting research in the field of leadership at MIT Sloan School of Management. In 2007, he received the ‘Best Young Researcher’ award at an international conference held in New Zealand. Dr. Özgür BOLAT currently works as a consultant to schools and companies, a columnist for hürriyet.com.tr, and a consultant at TEV. He is also a member of the Board of Directors and Advisory Boards of ÖRAV, FODER, TEVİTÖL and Para Durumu Platformu.
