We leave for a day the Spanish Mediterranean coast and drive up into the mountains above Benidorm, to Guadalest. A small but charming village where you go for the view and the many souvenir shops in the picturesque alleys. We then continue our journey south in Spain. Alicante will be our host for a couple of nights. However, we are not impressed by the pitch. Maybe it took its toll because we didn't really like Alicante city either. As the nights in Alicante were noisy, we instead looked for a smaller place to freecamp. At La Marina beach in El Pineta, we spent a few quiet nights together with several other Swedes.
