In the territory of "Tulle et cœur de Corrèze", there are major sites full of history, but also magnificent spaces. What could be better than these large spaces to concretely grasp the knowledge that the ancients had of their environment, to understand the role of men in the creation and modification of these landscapes. Whether it is exploiting natural resources, building monuments, or even inventing poems or making instruments, there has always been a Limousin "know-how"... We begin our journey in the Monédières massif, renowned for preserving the last vestiges of heather moors. This region was 95% covered with heather moors until the beginning of the 20th century. Today, there are barely 20% of moors. Cédric Deguillaume, from the Ferme des Monédières, is an involved and active breeder. With his flock of Limousin sheep, he participates in the maintenance and preservation of the landscape. Jean Maison set up his herbalist business in the country of his childhood. With him, we discover the wealth of wild plants, this ancestral knowledge of its environment. Then we go to Tulle to discover a know-how, a heritage: the accordion. We meet Sébastien Farge, accordionist and artistic director of the "Nuits de Nacre" festival. Direction, the Maugein company, the last French accordion manufacturer. Created in 1919, this jewel of cultural heritage was saved in 2013. Its director, Marie Christine Dubart, explains the subtleties of this "craft". Then Karine Lhomme, head of the Tulle museums, opens the doors of the reserves of the future Accordion Museum to discover today the most important public collection of free-hipped instruments in France. We end our escapades at the Château de Ventadour. Aurélie Bonvallet, host of Pays d'Art et d'Histoire, introduces us to the troubadour Bernard de Ventadour, one of the greatest Occitan poets of the Middle Ages. #capsudouest #drone #france3 #corrèze #limousin #accordéon #maugein #savoirfaire #musique #jeansegurel All the news in Aquitaine ► http://france3-regions.francetvinfo.f...
