About :

South Korea has the lowest birth rate in the world - and the number of children per woman continues to fall. According to the most recent statistics, this rate is now 0.72, well below the minimum replacement rate of a population, which is 2.1 children per woman. If the trend continues, it is estimated that South Korea's population will fall by half by the year 2100. But what explains this trend? And how is the government trying to overcome this challenge, which threatens the country's social security, health and even defense systems? This is what our reporter Julia Braun explains. Check it out. Text report: https://www.bbc.com/portuguese/articl... #bbcnewsbrasil #coreiadosul #natalidade #população Did you like it? Subscribe to the BBC News Brasil channel!
