This MAN NG 263 was first registered with the MVG on May 22, 2001 under the license plate M-VB 5103. The MAN NG 263s delivered in 2000 and 2001 were the first buses of the Munich transport company in the new dove blue livery, and also the last without air conditioning. In 2017, the bus was decommissioned and bought at auction by the former OCM transport company Kraftverkehr München along with nine other buses. The other 9 buses were resold and vehicle 5103 was put back with the intention of keeping it as a museum bus. The bus was registered again shortly afterwards under its old license plate and can be found on rail replacement services and occasionally on the O7 feeder line to the MVG Museum. During the Long Night of Museums, it had to step in as a replacement bus on the O7 (which, as always, was extended to Odeonsplatz). This is where the photos were taken. Thanks go to Wolfgang Weiss for allowing me to use some photos.
