Nóra Trokán: Sorrentino is a recognizable actress from a film frame, Nóra Trokán, who became known for her numerous independent and stage roles, television and film work, and roles in foreign productions shot in Hungary. She once even auditioned for Paolo Sorreintino. Gellért Kovács talks to her about the film Parthenopé – The Beauty of Naples, which will be released in theaters on December 26, including why he didn't dare to approach the Italian star, Luisa Ranieri, after they starred in a film together. Mozinet's new premiere is the latest work by the Oscar-winning director of The Great Beauty, Youth and The Young Pope, Paolo Sorrentino. Mythical Naples, full of legends, emotions and life, has been luring sailors, tourists and artists to its shores for thousands of years. Parthenopé is born in the water in the bay of one of the city's villas – the beautiful little girl, even as a newborn, is given the ancient name of Naples at baptism. Following his episodic, decades-long life story, we reach places and people that ordinary mortals never go to, and it is up to him to decide what to do with the secrets he uncovers, whether they will bring him closer to his desired happiness. “I think it is a great thing if, as a director, you have reached the point where someone can tell whose film they are watching from just one frame of film.” One of Trokán’s favorite directors is Paolo Sorrentino, among other things because he creates a very distinctive visual world and characters in his films. According to him, it is a great thing that his style can be recognized from a single frame, even if you have seen a Sorrentino film before. “For a Hungarian actor, the positive confirmation he receives in an international production is absolutely disconcerting.” Trokán has also had roles in several foreign productions shot in Hungary, including a film directed by Johnny Depp. According to him, the significant difference between Hungarian and foreign work is not only due to the budget. As a theater actor, it is embarrassing for him when everything is done for the comfort of the actors and when they receive positive confirmation. “I just met Luisa Ramieri at a film premiere, and I was so afraid of her that I didn’t dare go there.” Despite all this, Trokán is not immune to feeling embarrassed in the presence of his idols. For example, he didn’t dare to initiate a conversation with Luisa Ramieri – who also plays one of the important characters in Parthenope – The Beauty of Naples – even though they both appeared in the previously mentioned Johnny Depp film. And why? Because for him, Ramieri is a woman with a capital letter! Parthenope – The Beauty of Naples is in cinemas from December 26!
