In this new episode of Explainer Bear, Grandmaster Jan Gustafsson plays a 15+10 game and, as always, tries to explain his thoughts and grandmaster decisions as clearly as possible. This time he is playing against washintonwinter (2186), who brings the Slav Defense to the board. Jan chooses the modern variation with 3. Nf3 and 4. e3 and encounters unexpectedly strong resistance.
