In this video, we will show the complete electrical installation of our Maria Aurora Kombihome, powered by solar energy. The electrical installation project for the Kombihome began even before the furniture was installed, as we did some research on which equipment we would like to use and their dimensions, and we had already planned the places for the electrical equipment. The first phase of the electrical installation was to pull a positive cable and a negative cable from the Kombi's original battery box into the living room where the stationary batteries are located. With that, we could turn on the air conditioner and, with this same cable, we could charge the stationary batteries using the alternator. After all this, we bought a 240 Ah Freedom stationary battery and a 50 Ah Usina charger, fixed them in place and installed the circuit breakers and the necessary wiring for operation. With the battery working, we turned on the LED lighting system, sockets, air conditioner and refrigerator. The last step was to acquire a 450W monocrystalline solar panel and a 40Ah MPPT charge controller. We also pulled the wiring and installed the necessary circuit breakers, and it worked very well. The electrical installation wasn't that complicated to do. You always need to pay attention to the positive and negative cables. Knowing this, you can do the electrical installation of your motorhome yourself.
