Sunny impressionism by artist Yuri Krotov Artist Yuri Krotov was born in 1964, in the village of Grivenskaya in the Krasnodar region, near the Sea of Azov. When Yuri was 8 years old, he met the artist G.A. Polugaevsky, who became Yuri's first teacher and mentor. In 1976, Yuri Krotov entered the Moscow Secondary Art School at the V.I. Surikov Institute. Then there was service in the Soviet Army, and after the army - the Moscow State Art Institute named after Surikov. Since 1992, the artist has traveled a lot around the world, participated in exhibitions and held solo exhibitions in the largest cities of Europe. In 2005, the artist joined the Creative Union of Artists of Russia. Since 2010, Yuri Krotov has been teaching at the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture.
