About :

Today I would like to introduce you to a cool and useful project of mine :) Today I combined my Xiaomi sensors, IFTTT, my Sonoff POW (infrared heater), the Telegram adapter and the temperature regulation to save electricity in a smart script. What does the script do? Very simple, when you leave the house and IFTTT detects that you are leaving the GPS range of your house, IFTTT triggers our script and the first thing it does is turn the heating down from, for example, the current 24°C to 20°C to save energy, because when you're not at home it doesn't have to be that warm. But that's not all, the script also checks whether the house/terrace and stairwell doors as well as the windows in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom are open and if so I get a warning via Telegram that the corresponding window is still open.
