In today's video, Rafa Oliveira will show you how she transformed a super small laundry room into a functional and organized space! Before starting to organize, the Casa de Verdade team gave the corner a makeover. The clothesline was replaced with a more compact one in a new position to make it more practical and accessible. Pine shelves with inverted French cleats were installed above the sink to make it easier to handle items. The gas cylinder was camouflaged with a wooden piece of furniture with a small door because it couldn't be moved from there. The first step was to thoroughly clean the space. For the floor, Rafa used a flat MOP with a small bucket that makes her daily routine much easier, and in the sink, she just used neutral detergent on a sponge, simple and practical! The laundry products were placed in dispensers that are adapted juice dispensers. The tap helps a lot when measuring the product! The washing powder was placed in a specific organizer so it doesn't get clumpy and its container was placed in a small organizing basket on the first shelf. On the second shelf, Rafa organized the household cleaning products in a lidless storage basket to act as a sort of storage area. To gain practicality and space, put cleaning products in a spray bottle to optimize use and even save on the amount of product you use. Rafa also shows some organizers and tools that she always recommends: a basket with suction cups above the sink, retractable buckets, hooks with suction cups, a foldable bamboo laundry basket, a broom and squeegee organizer, and a bag puller.
