[2020.12.5-6 4K60fps] Ogori Station, the starting point of the Yamaguchi Line and the starting station of the SL Yamaguchi, has flourished as a transportation hub in Yamaguchi Prefecture since its opening on December 3, 1900. Ogori developed as a railway town, and Ogori Station was renamed Shin-Yamaguchi Station in 2003, but it is still a junction that represents Yamaguchi Prefecture. To commemorate the 120th anniversary of the opening of Ogori Station, the SL Shin-Yamaguchi Station Opening 120th Anniversary Commemorative Train was operated for two days on December 5th and 6th. The D51200 locomotive, with a special headmark, runs powerfully through the Yamaguchi Line in early winter.
