This film is a montage of several rides this year 2024. And what to actually fill up the tanks of veterans? This question bothered me quite a bit, because the problem is new fuels, when from 01.01.2024 the standard "orders" to add up to 10% bio-component, i.e. ethanol, to the fuel. Therefore, if it is refueled like the BA95 until now, it means a colossal problem when the vehicle is parked for a long time, for example from autumn to spring, as is common with veterans. And the fact that we don't start for spring will be quite common. So WHAT TO TANK?! Although multi-octane gasolines do not yet contain such an amount of biocomponents, they are not a suitable fuel for the operation of old Škoda vehicles. I was advised to refuel with, for example, Orlen Verva 100, but for the time being I chose my own strategy, where when refueling I alternate between 95 and 100, of course with the addition of all additives, and for the winter I prefer to drain the rest of the fuel from the tank.
