In this video series we show you how to make a hunting knife using the stock removal method without a workshop and/or expensive machines and tools. In the first part of the series you will see how to make the knife blade yourself, work out the blade shape of the hunting knife with the grinder and then apply a very simple blade grind. Before hardening you should grind the carbon steel blade (in the case of this knife 1.2235 from our shop) to a thin edge of approx. 0.4mm and finish it to grain 400.
