Hello, in this video we are going to make a beautiful crochet rug that our customers are loving. It's easy and quick to work with, it measures 72 cm long by 49 centimeters wide and I used 322 grams of Barroco in the colors 7603 Castor and 7738 Café. Both threads are number 6 and I worked with a 3.5 mm needle. To make a runner, you have to add chains in multiples of 6 to the initial 37 chains that I make in the video. You will make 6 chains at a time until you build a cord that is 50 centimeters smaller than the size of the piece you want, then start following the video. Every 6 more chains you make will increase 1 block of 4 double crochets in the fourth round. When you get to round number fifteen, which is the closed round of double crochet stitches, you count how many stitches there are in the round (counting the double crochet stitches and the chains). After counting, divide the total by 13 and see if it gives an exact number. If so, just make the round without increasing, working one double crochet stitch for each base stitch. If there is a remainder after dividing, see how much is left to make 13 and make increases in the amount that is missing, because this finishing is in multiples of 13.
