2020 marks the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Mauthausen concentration camp by American soldiers. In his interview for the USC Shoah Foundation, Shoah survivor Simon Wiesenthal talks about his liberation. Simon Wiesenthal's interview today, May 8, concludes the USC Shoah Foundation's series commemorating 75 years of liberation. Simon Wiesenthal's complete testimony, in which he also reports on the so-called 'War Crimes Investigating Team' in Mauthausen, is also available via the Visual History Archive Online (vhaonline.usc.edu).
