SIERRA DE LUNA Francisco de Val Francisco de Val, born in Villafeliche and a mule-shoer in Sierra de Luna, is still an enigma to be discovered; his bohemian life seems to have taken place between Spain, Cuba, Mexico and South America without leaving any great mark on his personal life. However, his poetic and especially musical work presents dazzling and unforgettable pages that we all know well even though the name of its author may be unknown to us. Although Francisco de Val's songs are not only famous because they have been performed by Manolo Escobar, Antonio Machín or Jorge Sepúlveda, but because we have all, with all certainty, sung them more than once. We invite you to sing with the Banda de Muel, the Rondalla Amantes de la Jota and the Coral Zaragoza the song that concludes this anniversary concert: Sierra de Luna.
