On the first morning of Mathura, Shri Krishna worships the Sun. Lord Brahma appears in the sky and in the form of Narayana, requests Shri Krishna that today such a combination of planets and stars is being formed in which the sinful Kansa can be killed. If today you show mercy and compassion and leave him alive, then he will continue tormenting the good people with his acts. Therefore, you must complete the task for which you have taken incarnation. Shri Krishna assures Lord Brahma and other gods to kill Kansa. Trumpets are blown in the stadium. There four wrestlers are standing ready for wrestling. Krishna and Balram move towards the stadium amidst the cheers of the people of the city. Then, as per Kansa's pre-planned plan, the Kuvaliyapith elephant having the strength of ten thousand elephants is released. Seeing the intoxicated elephant coming, there is a stampede in the crowd. The elephant tramples many people under its feet. The Kuvaliyapith elephant comes in front of Krishna, wreaking havoc all around. Krishna catches the elephant's tusk and trunk and throws it in the air like a ball. The elephant falls on the ground like a spinning top and dies. Kansa's chief minister Chanur is terrified seeing this scene. Then Nand Baba reaches there with the people of Gokul and is happy to find his Kanha safe. Krishna says that I have eaten butter made by mother Yashoda, this elephant could not harm me. On the other hand, Chanur reaches the stadium and informs Kansa about the death of the elephant. Kansa is worried. Now the responsibility of planning Krishna's death rests on his powerful wrestlers. Nand Rai reaches in front of Kansa. Kansa gives him a seat. After this, Krishna and Balram also reach there. They have pulled out the teeth of the killed elephant and are wearing them on their shoulders as if they are their weapons. All the men and women present in the stadium are surprised and happy to see Shri Krishna. Whatever the feelings in the mind of a person, he sees the Lord in that form. Warriors see Krishna in a brave form while young women see him in the form of Kamadeva. Mothers full of affection see Krishna in his child form while Kansa sees Yamraj in Krishna. Seeing Krishna and Kansa face to face, restlessness spreads in all the three worlds. To tease Kansa, Shri Krishna says that I know the royal decorum that gifts are presented to a king while meeting him. That is why I killed a mad elephant on the way and pulled out its tusks and have brought them for you as a gift. Kansa gets very angry at Krishna's words but pretending, he praises Krishna's bravery. He says that Krishna should choose one of these four wrestlers and wrestle with him so that he gets an opportunity to display his bravery in front of all the citizens and guest kings. On this, Krishna tells the wrestlers the rules of wrestling and says that wrestling takes place between two equal wrestlers and our bodies are much smaller than you wrestlers. Krishna's diplomacy works. The people of Mathura start raising their voice against this unjust fight of Kansa. Akrur also raises his voice of protest. Then Kansa plays a cunning trick and says that calling Krishna, who killed a demon like Bakasur and lifted a mountain on his one finger, a child is an insult to his bravery. Therefore, this wrestling match is fair. To stop Kansa, Akrur and his trusted people take out their swords from the sheaths. Krishna calms them down and puts the drawn swords back in the sheaths and accepts the challenge of wrestling. First comes the wrestler Mushtak. Krishna kills him by throwing him down on the ground in a short while. The second wrestler is killed by Balaram. Kansa gets frightened on seeing this scene.
