That is a risky business at the end of December for a birdwatcher who wants to see and capture many birds. December is a difficult month, especially when the days are cold, wet and misty. Then many songbirds are hiding or they are so busy looking for food that they can hardly sit still. Still, I managed to capture a few nice species, such as the crows in the treetop and the firecrests at eye level.
