The Westminster Shorter Catechism was formulated by English and Scottish theologians of the Westminster Assembly in the 17th century. XVII. It is a summarized catechism, with a Calvinist orientation, composed of 107 questions. Along with the Westminster Confession of Faith and the Westminster Larger Catechism, it makes up the symbols of faith of Presbyterian churches around the world. Originally designed for use with children, it nevertheless reveals content of great value, applicable to adults. A work of great value for the faithful systematization of biblical truths that they present so that, like our ancestors, we also biblically confront the errors of our days.
