Opened on September 19, 1991, the Centro Comercial Leste Aricanduva was the second shopping center in the East Zone of São Paulo. The development was installed in a large urban void with no previous commercial tradition, in an area marked by an impressive landscape of popular housing that make up the landscape of Cidade Líder, Parque do Carmo, Aricanduva, São Mateus, Vila Formosa, Vila Carrão and other nearby neighborhoods.
