[Cheonji Ilbo·Cheonji TV=Reporter Ji-Ye Lee] Shincheonji, which is expanding into the world, has conducted a Bible exchange program to promote understanding and solidarity among religions. Shincheonji invited leaders of 10 religious denominations from 27 countries who want to interact, and held the '1st International Revelation Special Lecture' to broaden their understanding of the Bible and exchange scriptures. About 80 religious leaders from various countries and denominations, including those from the other side of the world, visited Korea. The 3-night, 4-day schedule was not only a direct lecture by Shincheonji Chairman Man-Hee Lee, but also a prayer meeting with 10 religions, a Revelation speech, and a final exam, making it an experience that broadened their understanding of Christian scriptures. Shincheonji members warmly and cheerfully welcomed the religious leaders from overseas. The guests moved to Shincheonji Gangdong Church to listen to Chairman Lee's Revelation Special Lecture, which was the first schedule. Although they were teaching different religions as much as they were wearing different clothes, they sat at the desks side by side in front of the Word without any distinction between high and low. Instead of Buddhist scriptures, a Bible was placed in front of the monk. The chairman, who came on stage amidst the welcome of religious leaders, gave a warm greeting and gave his first special lecture on Revelation. The chairman emphasized that the prophecies of the Book of Revelation must never be added or subtracted because they are fulfilled exactly as written. (Recording: Man-hee Lee, Chairman of Shincheonji) “I believe, I believe, but can I believe it? If the contents of this Book of Revelation have already been fulfilled, if they were fulfilled as if they were stamped according to these words, then I can believe it. If they were fulfilled according to the words written in this book, then I can testify that these words were fulfilled. And these words themselves can also testify to reality, and reality can testify to these words of prophecy, right? This is what God promised us. It is the promise of God, the Creator of heaven and earth. That is why I said that it cannot be added or subtracted. Do not add or subtract. If you add or subtract, you will not be able to enter heaven and will be cursed. You should not speak based on what little I know.” As the first schedule was for the General Assembly Chairman to personally convey the truth of the Book of Revelation, the participants focused even more on the words. Following the special lecture on the Book of Revelation, a detailed introduction to the 12 tribes of Shincheonji, which were fulfilled according to the Bible’s promise, followed. (Recording: Lee Ji-yeon, Head of Education, Shincheonji General Assembly) “When and how was Shincheonji created? When the prophecy of the Book of Revelation was fulfilled, the denomination that was created according to the Bible, following the path of the Book of Revelation, is our Shincheonji Church of Jesus. If the denominations that existed before were traditional churches, then our Shincheonji Church of Jesus is the promised denomination that appeared according to the Bible’s promise. Therefore, Shincheonji is not a traditional church that existed before, but a promised denomination that was created when the Book of Revelation was fulfilled. This is the biggest difference from the numerous Christian denominations in the world.” There was also time to watch a movie about the peace achievements that General Assembly Chairman Lee made as a messenger of peace. The documentary 'Great Legacy', which tells the true story of how the Mindanao civil war in the Philippines ended with the mediation of this General Assembly Chairman, vividly conveyed the fact that many lives can be saved through interreligious communication and reconciliation. The next day, in a bright atmosphere, education was held to confirm that the reality of the fulfillment of the Book of Revelation is in Shincheonji. After that, during the group breakup, the participants faithfully attended the class by carefully organizing their Bibles along with their class materials. They also had a time of praise and prayer beyond their denominations. The religious leaders opened their hearts and showed unity by clapping their hands and singing along with the praise. Although their prayer methods were different, the religious leaders fervently prayed with the same heart for the end of war and world peace. The General Assembly Chairman's second special lecture was held at the Peace Training Center, which was covered in white snow that fell overnight. General Assembly Chairman Lee emphasized that the fundamentals of the scriptures are not very different and that we should compare and understand each other's scriptures. (Recording: Man-hee Lee, Chairman of Shincheonji) “It is said that the Creator God who left 6,000 years ago will return. The words of this scripture were the explanation of the process to reach the place where we can welcome him. We have our own scriptures, but the content may be slightly different, but I think the fundamentals are not much different. That is why I said that it would be good for all religious people to compare their scriptures with each other and do that. That is why I told Christian religious people from each country around the world to bring their scriptures and compare them with each other after the World Conference. We should do that.” The attendees applauded the sight of Chairman Lee testifying to the battlefield of the Book of Revelation without any problems. After the morning schedule, time was set aside to view various exhibits that helped understand the contents of the Bible. The gifts he received from the dignitaries of each country during his 32 peace tours also caught the attention of the visitors. On the last day, religious leaders were busy studying the Bible in preparation for the final exam. Even right before the exam, I tried my best to remember at least one more word I learned. After the exam, the four religious leaders who were chosen as representatives came out and gave speeches on the topic of the Revelation they had been taught. Despite the short training period, the Bible verses they confidently testified to moved everyone who spoke and listened. The general chairman, who visited the site to celebrate the closing ceremony, asked the attendees to fulfill their roles as religious leaders and said that they should become one without any distinction between high and low. (Recording: Man-hee Lee, General Chairman of Shincheonji) “You must become low, low, and as low as a child. I am speaking in front of you, but I do not want to become high. What this person is trying to say is that today is not a time of prophecy but a time of reality. This person said this because he has read Revelation 1 to 22. He can reveal the reality as much as he wants. What he asked of you is that we all become one in Jesus. Let’s not act like we are all better than others and act like we are better than others, but let’s become one in Jesus by becoming low and as low as possible. So, wouldn’t it be good if we could teach each other, help each other, and hold hands and go together? I really hope we can do that.” The participants all agreed that it was a beneficial program that allowed them to deeply understand the Bible and experience other religions. (Interview: Venerable Beopsan, General Director of the Jogye Order of Daegak Buddhism) “Interest in other religions. Also, I think that what others call heresy is not just heresy, but something I know for sure and talk about has a different depth of story. That’s why I thought it was a good opportunity and decided to study together. The most surprising thing about receiving this education was that I was able to see the reality that is currently happening with my own eyes. When I look at the achievements of General Chairman Man-hee Lee in Mindanao, Philippines, if religious people can open their hearts and move for world peace without war, I saw religious leaders come together and happily hold hands and link arms, truly becoming one. I think it was a miraculous scene.” (Interview: Bharat Dashrat Sshat Triratna Buddha Meditation Leader) “(The biggest reason for participating in this program) is of course because I was inspired by the concept of world peace and religious harmony. This is a unique concept and a global brand. We are one, invented by Koreans. This concept inspires me a lot. All religions, all ethnicities, all faiths are one platform. And they share each other, listen to each other’s stories, and this is truly miraculous. For the first time in the world, all religions have gathered on one stage. It is all thanks to this General Assembly Chairman, all the evangelists, and all the believers. I thank all the team members.” An MOU signing ceremony was also held during the closing ceremony. All the participants held up signs to show their agreement when the moderator asked if they would join in the work of religious harmony and promised to join in promoting the ‘Universal Invitation to the Revelation Special Lecture’ program. Shincheonji, which has been conducting online seminars, annual 100,000 graduation ceremonies, and numerous exchange and cooperation MOUs with churches. Recently, the invitation to the Revelation seminar for pastors received a great response, and this time, the Bible exchange cooperation program for domestic and international religious leaders was completed. Religious leaders from all over the world who directly confirmed the words of Shincheonji during the four-day schedule expressed their intention to exchange and cooperate with Shincheonji. I hope that the invitation to the Revelation special lecture for all nations will continue to be an opportunity to break down the high walls between religions and achieve peace.
