The Shin-Meishin Expressway is scheduled to be fully opened in 2027 when the Takatsuki JCT to Yawata Kyotanabe JCT section opens. It allows you to get from Kyoto to the Chugoku and Sanin regions while avoiding the traffic jams at the Takarazuka Tunnel on the Chugoku Expressway, and the road is new and comfortable. Takarazuka Kita SA is stylish and has an opera theater feel. The toilets are clean and I often stop by there.
