The Shimabara Railway Line between Shimabara Gaiko (now Shimabara Port) and Kazusa was discontinued on April 1, 2008. The current Minamishimabara City area was sometimes called "Minamime", and the area south of Minamishimabara (now Shimabara Funatsu), which was opened by the Kuchinotsu Railway, was nicknamed "Minamime Line". This is a front view of a Kiha 20 from Minamishimabara to Kazusa. I have already uploaded the video in eight parts, but this time I have put it together into one video and improved the image quality slightly. At the time, the filming technology was still immature, and there are some unsightly parts such as zooming and severe shaking, but please enjoy it as a valuable video from that time.
