The Shiga Prefectural Board of Education has issued a disciplinary warning to a homeroom teacher who punched a special needs class student near the eye, causing injury. The teacher who was given a warning by the Shiga Prefectural Board of Education is a male teacher (46) at a Maibara City elementary school. In September of this year, the male teacher punched a fourth-grade boy near his right eye during a music class, causing injury. The male teacher was arrested on suspicion of assault, but was subsequently not indicted.
