Sherco is an increasingly important player in the enduro market. Launched just 25 years ago, it has managed to evolve in the right direction and today it is rightfully in the range of choices of enthusiasts, who can range across a range of seven proposals: the 2-stroke 125, 250 and 300 and the 4-stroke 250, 300, 450 and 500. For 2025, all have received an important technical upgrade that has led the company's top management, led by Marc Tissier, to organize an international press presentation, something that hasn't happened for several years. So we all found ourselves in a wonderful private estate in Burgundy, to discover and then try the new Sherco enduro bikes. At first glance, you immediately notice the different design that comes from an update to all the plastics, from the front mudguard to the entire rear end. The goal, in addition to updating the look, is to improve ergonomics and sharpen the new conveyors with the new filter box, completely redesigned. Access to the filter is from the left side and the entire operation is now very very simplified and completely free of tools. Great attention has also been paid to reducing the overall weight of all models through a targeted update to the frame, the aluminum subframe, the radiators, the plates, the swingarm, the wheels and their pins, and the electrical system. The frame, which remains a single steel beam, changes in the area of the cradle and the attachment of the single shock absorber. At the engine level there are no extreme upheavals and even the 2-stroke maintains the carburetor supply. Above all, new exhausts arrive, branded Spes 3 for the 2T and Akrapovic for the 4-stroke; the latter also have a new cam castle and a different fuel pump, while the 2-stroke 250 and 300 have a new gearbox, made internally in the company. The enduro range is identified with the Factory acronym (which we tested), but after a few years of absence the Racing versions have also returned, less kitted out and more accessible in terms of price list. The choices, in this case, are limited to the 300 2-stroke and 4-stroke models that differ in terms of open cartridge fork, forged plates, handlebars, swingarm, tires and linkage. We put them to the test in Burgundy, where our Marco Gualdani was able to test the 2-stroke and 4-stroke range in a spectacular context.
