The salt in the dishes arrives in Forotic, in Caraș Severin County, at Nea Iacob, a sheep breeder and not just any breed, but duck sheep. You can find out the story of the shepherds who fled to the mountains with their sheep when the communists had set out to eradicate this breed from us. And also from here, we recover an old Romanian dish, sheep sloi, which we prepare in a courtyard of a house over 180 years old, arranged as in the old days, good for a museum.
