Her father was a mathematics teacher and principal of Mansoura Military Secondary School for Boys, and her mother was a housewife. Her talent appeared at an early age, so she joined the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts and the Institute of Music at the same time, which her mother refused despite her father's encouragement, who predicted from a young age that she would be a famous artist because she was good at imitating actors. She has a theatrical, cinematic and television credit, and among her most important theatrical works are the play Raya and Sakina with Shadia, and the School of Troublemakers. Among her most important cinematic works are the films, Mr. Ambassador, A Moment of Weakness with Salah Zulfikar, and The Night of Arresting Bakiza and Zaghloul. Among her most important television works is the series The Truth... That Unknown Man with Salah Zulfikar. She retired in 1997 after wearing the hijab.
