Sharing your hard-earned money with others - can it work? In an eco-village near Wolfsburg, it is possible to live like this. Laura takes Lisa-Sophie through her everyday life for a day: from harvesting the home-grown lettuce to having lunch with the whole community and even a discussion group about new purchases. Because: Nothing happens here without agreement. For example, does someone want to buy a bicycle with the shared money? Then that has to be discussed. Lisa-Sophie wants to find out: Can a life in which the essential things for life are shared really work? What are the advantages and disadvantages of this way of life? And could she imagine living like that herself? In our new series "Can I live differently?" we meet people who have turned their lives around and now lead a completely different life than in the past. Are they better off because of it? What made them do it? You can find all the films in our YouTube playlist: • Can I live differently? This film is for educational purposes. Why do we let animals suffer? Do we drink too much? Or: What does porn do to us? Our team and we are interested in questions that have something directly to do with our lives, but also topics that are important to all of us and are often only discussed superficially. We look for answers to these questions, week after week - openly, honestly and independently. We don't meet experts for this, but we are there: at the slaughterhouse, at the swinger party, while proselytizing in the pedestrian zone. And because we want to get to know as many perspectives as possible in our search, a question always occupies us for several weeks. In the end, we want to give an answer, even if that is not easy for us. With every video - but especially in the discussions with you - we get a little closer to an answer to the big, tricky questions.
