The Serra da Mantiqueira is a mountain range that extends across 3 states in Brazil: São Paulo, Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro. The region offers many options for leisure, gastronomy and ecotourism. On the first day of the itinerary, we visited Azeites OLIQ, in São Bento de Sapucaí and ARMAZÉM SÃO BENTO in Gonçalves. We stayed at the ESPELHO D'ÁGUA guesthouse. Dinner was in Gonçalves at Chalezinho Gastrobar. On the second day, we visited the Santa Terezinha farm in Paraisópolis and the ZALAZ brewery. We learned about the production of Queijo do Baú and had dinner at the PALEOBERGUE guesthouse. On the third day, we took a tour with the Mantiqueira Ecoturismo agency. We visited the viewpoint in the city of Gonçalves and the Serra da Balança, which divides the states of Minas Gerais and São Paulo, as well as the Simão waterfall. We had lunch at the Sauá restaurant and in the afternoon we visited the Casa dos Cogumelos. Our tour ended with dinner at the Flor de Zucca restaurant.
