In this third episode, I went up to the upper part of the park through gate 1 in São Roque de Minas and crossed the first half of the park, heading east to west. I passed by the Visitor Center where a photo exhibition by Alessandro Abdala was being held on the park's biodiversity, and I passed by the Historic Source of the São Francisco River, Curral de Pedra, the upper part of Casca D'anta Waterfall, Garagem de Pedras and Fundão Waterfall. In the next episode, I completed the entire crossing of the park, where I started at gate 2, went through the other half and exited through Gate 3, the Sacramento Gate, and visited more waterfalls, a farm where authentic Canastra Cheese is produced, and the villages of São João da Canastra and Desemboque. The latter is the oldest in the entire region with two historic churches and was a stop for cattle drivers in the 17th century. Don't miss it, it's really cool. I hope you like it, see you then!
