This is a video of our family hike on Seoraksan Dinosaur Ridge last month (May 18-19). You can check detailed hiking reviews and records through the open link below. https://cafe.naver.com/trainalpinism/114 We were short on drinking water due to the unexpected heat. I thought about the best way to prepare, but since we were hiking with kids, I should have prepared in a relaxed state rather than an optimal state. We are planning a family Tour de Mont Blanc (TMB) trek this summer, so this Dinosaur Ridge hike was a good gauge for backpacking trekking ahead of that. I told my kids that no section of the TMB would be as difficult as the Dinosaur Ridge, which gave them confidence. For the first time, they realized the usefulness of a waist belt. My wife and I decided to pack a little lighter to prepare for the TMB trek.
