We visited the Fattoria dell'Autosufficienza, an example of permaculture design, accompanied by its owner Francesco Rosso. In this first part of the story we see how the territory has been transformed with kilometers of swales (leveling ditches), terraces and water collection basins, the bio-pool. Among the designers who have contributed to realizing this surprising work of transformation of the territory there is Sepp Holzer, a permaculturist from the Austrian Alps who has made his farm a great example of Permaculture applied in temperate climates. In the second part of this video (out next week) we talk about the horticultural crops, the food forest and other crops of the Fattoria dell'Autosufficienza.
