The episode is about the process of sorting selective, or yellow bin waste, and partly about recycling. We look at what a bin truck dumps, what the dobrosta, ballistic separator, and eddy current separator mean in sorting, and what sensors the system uses to separate the different plastics during sorting, and how PET, HDPE, foil, Tetra PAK, aluminum, and paper are placed separately in the manual sorter. At the end of the process, the individual materials are baled according to color and material type, and then go to the recycler. We also cover PET bottles coming from the DRS, or Deposit Return System, as these also arrive at the waste sorter and are also passed through the sorting line. #howto #waste #recycling #plasticsindustry #recycling #sustainability #didyouknow #funny #technology #interesting #world #moss #petbottle
