Scotland by motorbike - and tent: In part 1 of our first motorbike trip, we take you from Edinburgh to the Highlands. ???? This tour shows you all the important tourist highlights that we discovered on our BMW GS 800 Adventure. With this motorbike trip in Scotland, you will get to know the most beautiful corners of the country: For three weeks, from mid-May, we were travelling in Scotland by motorbike. We take you on the ferry from Amsterdam to Newcastle, then drive from Edinburgh to the Cairngoms and Speyside, pure whisky country. From there we go to Nessi on Loch Ness and then to the northern highlights up to Durness, one of our absolute favourite places in Scotland. The destination is Ullapool. There are two of us on the (at the time) almost brand new BMW GS 800.
