In this edition, Brasilianas.org will address the history of men who studied Brazilian society to understand its singularities. Many of these Interpreters of Brazil wrote their works from within the public sector, in the heat of the process of changes undergone by society, such as Darcy Ribeiro and Caio Prado Júnior. To discuss the topic, we invited professor, philosopher and social scientist João Quartim de Moraes, historian and organizer of the collection Intérpretes do Brasil, published by Boitempo, Luiz Bernardo Pericás, and professor of political science at UNESP, Antônio Carlos Mazzeo.
