Sassopiatto Refuge from Monte Pana - Val Gardena

Second part of the three videos dedicated to my excursions, made in August 2023 in Val Gardena. Today we will take a beautiful circular tour, which from Monte Pana (Santa Cristina Val Gardena), will take us to the Sassopiatto Refuge, located below the mountain of the same name (paths no. 30, 525 and 527). We will return to the starting point along the beautiful meadows of the Alpe di Siusi, but not before making a short detour to reach the Zallinger Refuge (paths no. 9, 531 and 30). Excellent views of the Sassolungo and Sassopiatto, the Odle Group, the Sciliar Massif and the Marmolada (visible once you reach the refuge). Difficulty: E. Fairly simple path and suitable for families, although certainly not trivial and decidedly long. Travel time: about 8 hours, for a total of 17 km. Video music: Sunny Mornings - Peder B. Helland
