Itararé Beach is a beach located in the city of São Vicente on the southern coast of São Paulo, bathed by the waters of Santos Bay. It is 2.5 km long on the Vicentina side alone and 2.9 km in its entirety, stretching from Porchat Island to Canal 1, already breaking the border with the neighboring city to the east, Santos. On its striking and long strip of sand, the distance traveled to reach the waters can reach more than 150 m in a straight line from the shore, this measurement can vary according to the tide and time of year. Tourist attractions Among the natural beauties of the place, in addition to the beach itself, the famous São Vicente Cable Car is also a highlight in Itararé, connecting Itararé to the top of Morro do Voturuá, which is shared between tourists and hang gliding enthusiasts who arrive at the location via the other side of the hill before gliding over the beach with their paragliders and hang gliders [1].
