Today, November 9, 2024, exactly one year has passed since the sad events that resulted in the death of Saltanat Nukenova. Especially for this memorable date, the editorial board of Informburo.kz released the film "Saltanat. One Life - a Thousand Fates". In the documentary project, we tell the story of a young woman whose life and tragic death became a powerful catalyst for change in Kazakhstan. At the social and legislative levels. The example of Saltanat's path, which became a symbol of the fight against domestic violence, changed the lives of thousands of young beautiful women. You will learn the stories of several of them from our film. For which we give them special thanks. We also thank Saltanat Nukenova's parents, who decided to take part in the filming. It was not an easy step for them. And yet, they opened the doors of their warm, beautiful home to our group. A home that, unfortunately, their only daughter will never enter. A daughter who has been loved by millions of people in different corners of our planet this year. A daughter whose image will remain in our hearts for a long time. Today, the Foundation will be named after Saltanat Nukenova, which will continue its noble mission of helping victims of domestic violence. There is still a lot of work to do in terms of changes in legislation, its application, administration, as well as the transformation of public consciousness and processes.
