In February 2016, a statue representing Saint Elizabeth, now attributed to Ligier Richier*, was bequeathed to the Museum of Sacred Art in Saint-Mihiel by a family from the Meuse. The work is now exhibited at the museum after being restored at the Centre de Recherches et de Restauration des Musées de France in Paris. Ligier Richier, Renaissance sculptor, born in the Meuse, in Saint-Mihiel (1500-1567). Film produced by GRPROD for the Department of the Meuse.
