Is it possible to switch the gearbox from Drive mode to S mode - sport or snow while driving. Most drivers who have an automatic transmission always use the D (drive) mode and may never drive in S mode, but sometimes it is needed. There are situations when the S mode in your automatic transmission will be very appropriate, namely: off-road driving, jerky movement in traffic jams, overtaking or a sharp maneuver on the highway. Right while driving, you can switch the automatic transmission to S mode, and then back to Drive, this is a standard action for which the automatic transmission is designed.
