On Saturday, August 10, 2024, the Historic S-Bahn Berlin carried out three special trips from the Nordbahnhof via Schönholz and Frohnau to Oranienburg and back to Anhalter Bahnhof - see this video: • S-Bahn cab ride in the city... Afterwards, the historic S-Bahn drove as a business trip from the Nordbahnhof to Treptower Park. Since this trip, I have had great respect for the already demanding driving job for the train driver of the Et 3839, for the special features of the ZBS signaling technology that have to be observed and even more for having excellent route knowledge in order to steer the train over switch routes while observing the correct light signals so as not to get stuck in areas without power rails!
