In this video I tell you how to define your ideal client: 00:00 Define your ideal client 01:22 Characteristics of the ideal client 04:50 Pillars to define your avatar client 11:42 Land the ideal client hypothesis and take action Defining your ideal client is important for your business. Around that ideal client that you want to attract and that you can help with your product and your service, is what you build your brand messages, create your content and even set your prices. However, it may happen that you have heard too many times: "You have to define your ideal client", "Don't sell to everyone, go to your ideal client". And at the same time you have asked yourself: But how do I define who my ideal client is? If this is your case and you also have a hard time defining your ideal client, in today's video I am going to give you some keys that can help you. 1. Characteristics of the ideal client Before starting with the practical exercise that I bring you today to define your ideal client, I want to tell you what are, in my opinion, the 3 characteristics that your ideal client should have. Firstly, they must have a problem, need, concern, hobby, etc. that you can cover, resolve or complete with your product or service. Secondly, they must identify that problem, need or concern as such. In other words: the client must be aware that they have something to cover, resolve or complement. And thirdly, they must be willing to pay to cover, resolve or complement their problem, need or concern. If you look closely, these three characteristics must coexist in your ideal client. Because, if someone has a problem and identifies it as such, but is not willing to invest in solving it and pay what our work is worth, they are not an ideal client. Or for example: if they have a problem, but do not identify it as such, they are not our ideal client either. So, as you can see, these characteristics are essential to identify whether a client suits us or not, especially in those cases in which someone asks us for a quote or asks us about our services or products. Once we have these three characteristics clear, we will go on to define our avatar client. An avatar client is a model client, a base, a hypothesis from which we start, a type of profile that we can help and want to attract. I would establish four steps to define this avatar. What I recommend is to take a pen and paper, an Excel spreadsheet or a document and establish four columns: In the first column, we will list demographic data: what is the age range of our ideal client, what environment they live in, what is their purchasing power, what studies they have. In the second column, we will establish aspects of their personal life that directly or indirectly, may have to do with their consumer profile: if they are married or single, if they have children or not, if they live alone, or any other personal circumstance that, in some way, affects us. In the third column, we are going to list the personality traits: whether they are a happy, shy, sensitive, energetic, active, lazy person… And finally, in the fourth column, we are going to establish aspects directly related to their problem, need or concern that we can solve, cover or complete with our product or service. The result of this exercise will be an avatar client. That is, an ideal client profile that you have created based on a hypothesis and the type of client you want to attract. Now that we have an avatar profile of our ideal client, I propose two things to land this ideal client hypothesis and get going: First, go a little deeper into the avatar with real people. Second, launch a communication and content strategy focused directly on that ideal client: I hope it helps you define your ideal client! ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ ????
