📣 Good news for the country? A change in the post of Minister of Culture, says dismissed head of the SNG Alexandra Kusá. December 2023 – premiere of the documentary Watch out, the SNG is falling! - aka the Slovak National Gallery. August 2024 – its long-time director Alexandra Kusá falls. Just like in the case of the heads of Bibiana, Rtvs, SND and other institutions in Martina Šimkovičová's department, without that documentary "watch out". The long-time general director of the SNG, who was there when the "falling" national gallery was dressing in a new beautiful dress, a lifelong expert connected to art, was dismissed by the minister's "enough is enough". Because "there is nothing in the gallery". Not only the "Slovak flag", but also "art, paintings, sculptures, or anything created by our Slovak artists". We quote the first woman in the department of culture, Minister Šimkovičová herself. The minister replaced art expert Kusá with a "man of money and numbers", as Kusá's replacement and Šimkovičová's client Anton Bittner introduced himself to the gallery staff. What and who else will fall in our country if the people who pulled culture up from its downfalls are falling?
