Lijiang Waterfall Guilin Hotel, located a few steps from the beautiful Elephant Trunk Hill, is a tourist attraction in itself. The hotel’s artificial waterfall, listed in the Guinness Book of Records, operates every evening. The hotel’s huge façade is flooded with spectacular streams of water, illuminated by light, for many floors. I stayed at this hotel and you can see the waterfall in the video! Guilin is a relatively small Chinese city (by Chinese standards). Many shopping centers and shops are located on Zhongshan Street. This is the main street of the city, running right through its center from north to south. In addition to large supermarkets and shopping centers, the city has many small markets, souvenir stalls and pedestrian streets. A long row of tents with red awnings is built on Zhongshan Street every day. You can buy souvenirs, toys, and handicrafts there. Guilin is famous for its unrivaled beauty of landscapes, so there is a developed trade in works of art and handicrafts that reflect the beauty of the surrounding nature. The three main local products are probably the alcoholic drink Sanhua, Guilin fermented bean curd, and Guilin chili sauce.
